M3 CERTIFICATION

The M3 certification programme ‘Advanced Procurement and Contract Management Strategies’ aims to provide participants with

// a strategic and global view of public procurement and recent developments in procurement: e-procurement, international trade and procurement laws, uniform rules for demand guarantees, standby procedures and incoterms, FIDIC works contracts, sustainable public procurement


// a detailed and comprehensive framework of processes and tools to be put in place to plan and monitor contract management


// the knowledge, practical skills, i.e. know-how, and attitudes to monitor, control, and evaluate supplier performance within this comprehensive contract management framework.

// Duration

Eight weeks for an equivalent of 60–80 hours of learning overall (blended modality).

The programme includes a four-week distance-learning phase and a five-day face-to-face workshop for which participants must mobilize and travel. Therefore, participants must apply at least two months before the start of the M3 certification programme to allow time for travel arrangements.

// Tuition Fees

Participants nominated by IFAD will be sponsored by the BuildProc initiative.

Open editions in blended modality coming soon.

// Requirements

Proficiency in the language in which the program is held and a suitable entry profile (practical experience, current position, etc.).

Applicants must have completed the M2 certification programme.
