BUILDPROC initiative includes a MOOC, a Massive Open Online Course. The objective of the MOOC is different from other BUILDPROC certification and diploma programmes. The MOOC aims rather at raising awareness of project stakeholders who are involved around projects and who are engaged, impacted or interested as per their role by procurement activities that take place to support rural and agricultural development.
A MOOC aims to train, but above all to sensitize project beneficiaries, local authorities and other project stakeholders so they take a more active role in procurement activities.
The MOOC will also serve as an entry point for any interested project stakeholders who wish to enter the community of practice. Participants who complete the MOOC will become members of the BUILDPROC community.
