BUILDPROC M1–M5 Learning Track Successfully Completed

The first edition of the BUILDPROC Specialised Learning Track in Procurement for Project Managers (M1–M5) has been successfully completed. The programme combined a structured online learning journey with an intensive face-to-face week in Turin.

The week in Turin provided a rich environment for knowledge and experience sharing, grounded in practical work, real case discussions and expert insights. Participants from across all IFAD regions came together, reflecting the global and inclusive nature of the initiative.

This milestone marks an important step in the BUILDPROC learning journey developed since 2021. It reflects a clear evolution in IFAD-funded projects, where procurement is increasingly recognised as a strategic function contributing directly to project performance and results.

For the first time, project managers engaged in a dedicated procurement learning track, strengthening their capacity to use procurement as a strategic tool for effective project implementation and impact.

The success of this first edition was driven by the strong engagement and collaboration among participants, IFAD and ITCILO teams, and trusted collaborators.
