Specialised Learning Track in Procurement for Project Managers
THE COURSE IS AVAILABLE IN ENGLISH, FRENCH, SPANISH, ARABIC
Specialised learning track tailored to provide project managers with the understanding, tools and strategic perspective needed to guide procurement strategically and achieve project results.
The objective of the M5 Certification Programme ‘Specialised Learning Track in Procurement for Project Managers’ is to provide participants with:
// a strategic overview of project procurement and its interconnectedness with other core functions – particularly finance — necessary for effective project results delivery
// a complete introduction to use of Project Procurement Strategy, Project Risk Matrix and IFAD OPEN for risk-based decision, particularly in fragile context
// a detailed and comprehensive framework of processes and tools to be put in place to plan and monitor contract management
// an introduction to value-for-money, sustainable procurement, SECAP and the importance of procurement in complying with the ESC standards
// Duration
Eight weeks for an equivalent of 60 hours of learning overall. Delivered in blended modality.
// Tuition Fees
Participants nominated by IFAD will be sponsored by the BuildProc initiative.
Open editions in blended modality coming soon.
// Requirements
Proficiency in the language in which the program is held and a relevant entry profile (experience, current position, etc.).
